The most beautiful, immersive and engaging gaming worlds I've ever had the pleasure to experience!

User Rating: 9.5 | Assassin's Creed II X360
Assassins Creed 2 is seriously one of the best games ever released on the Xbox 360. It hits the mark on so many levels, and surpasses its predecessor in ways I would never have expected.

If you played and loved the first, then I'm probably preaching to the converted 'cos you've probably already bought and played AC2 by now. But, even if just for the sake of the uninitiated, I'm going to rave about this game anyway.

Never have I seen a world so beautifully and thoughtfully brought to life. The graphics are just breathtaking; the cities and villages are so full of life, you honestly feel yourself swept back to the 15th century. The pieces of history and art that the developers have woven into the game play is magic and make the whole experience so much richer.

The gameplay is so damn graceful; you execute your assassin skills with such smooth and fluid motion that it never grows tiring. Plus while AC1 tended towards the repetitive (creep, climb, kill, run away) to achieve objectives, there are so many more cool variables and options now, like bribing a bunch of wenches or thieves to distract guards. And when you do decide to kill guards, the moves at your disposal are greater and more fun.

The new features of money, armor & weapon upgrades, renovating your village, all add an excellent depth to the game. And damn if aint just so damn cool tailoring the colour/trim of your assassins garb (try and tell me Florentine Crimson doesn't look awesome).

This game is a must have for anyone who loves stealth/action gaming, I just can't rave enough about it – if you don't fall in love with it, then you clearly have no soul.
