I was impressed with the first one- it brought an innovative and inspired medium by consistently utilizing concepts of parkour and free running, brought historic accuracy and an amazing amount of fun into one package, and gave players the ability to kill any shmoe they walked into. That was the first one. All of the repetitive game play, faulty mission structure, and the painfully ambiguous ending were all either scratched or (in the case of the third), altered in this Sequel. Assassin's Creed II delivers where the first couldn't, whilst adding some brilliant ideas, coaxing them into a fine batter, and resulting in a fabulous video game. I'm only 17, but damn- this is right up there with 007 Golden Eye and Ocarina of Time (both N64 games). Thank you Ubisoft for creating a msterpiece
This game made the original look like a high-schooler's work. This sequel was truly one of the best I have ever played. I implore buy 10 of these, air-seal them, place them in a deep underground vault in Switzerland, and never tell your heirs. In the year 3000, video gamers will look back, and view this video game as the one that truly stood out! Thank you God. Amen.
