User Rating: 10 | Assassin's Creed II PS3

First of all let me start the review by comparing game and the first installment, which is like comparing Terminator 1 to Terminator 2. The sequel leaves its predecessor behind, you will see the difference 10 minutes into the game.
GAMEPLAY: The gameplay although similar has quite a few new additions, you can no longer just pray with a group of monks to disguise yourself, you need to blend into the crowds, you can hire people to follow you around so you can create your own crowd to blend into.
The fighting system has been greatly improved from the last game. You use different weapons, which you can have blacksmiths forge for you, each weapon is unique in statistics, some can counterattack more than others others obviously have more power.
The climbing system feels more user friendly, with the manipulation of the camera you can observe your surroundings much more accurately in order to make successful jumps, climbs etc.
ENVIRONMENT: The different cities you visit have different atmospheres and each one with unique buildings and landmarks that were present in Renaissance Europe. The people walking on the streets have accurate clothing and look of people back then. People are more open minded about your actions, of course some people are like "Your going to hurt yourself!" or "He is Crazy!", but others say things like "He must have had too much of the good stuff!" and " I guess he knows what he is doing", so the people in the game seem more credible on having different views on your actions.
SOUND: The games environments are paired with a dynamite soundtrack, in the way that it fits the ambiance, when things are quiet, when things are hectic, when in battle and in cut scenes. I was amazed to hear the things I did at just the right time, every time.
REPLAY ABILITY: Even after the game is over you can continue to play and get things done such as side missions and collectibles, much like the puzzle system, you will be playing this game for hours and hours.
STORY: You play a character named Ezio, and follow him in his journey from a worry free teenager, into a formidable assassin. The story is amazing, it fits figures from the past and the future, into this web of intrigue that will capture your mind, just remember its fictional. The puzzles that you find at landmarks will unlock missing chapters of human history in way that seems realistic and fantastical.
Closing Thoughts: the game is an excellent achievement in gaming, i haven't had so much fun with a game in a long time, this game is so good i collected 100 feathers and solved all the puzzles because it hooked me into the world of assassins creed, and it will hook you too.
