I understand everyone's concern about DRM, but "it is what it is". The game is definitely above average

Yes, I agree with gamespot that it is lame that we are required to have an internet connection to play a single player game; but, even that doesn't take away from the fact that this is a very beautiful and detailed game. A lot of effort and attention to detail went in to making this game. Yes, the price tag is steep, but if you can afford it (and you have an internet connection), buy it. The game is well made. The controls work better in this version and the economy feature which allows you to purchase upgrades to weapons and wardrobe is a nice addition. The fighting engine is more advanced than the original; you have many more sword and hand-to-hand combat moves at your disposal; you can even throw sand in your enemies eyes to blind them. Of course the graphics are superb and the story line is very easy to follow..
I had a previous ubi account and had absolutely no problem logging in and I've had no game crashes.
Yes, I understand everyone's concern about the DRM, but "it is what it is". The game is definitely above average and very enjoyable. I deducted .5 points for the DRM, otherwise I would have rated this game a 10!
