Totally blew me away, even after the previews!

To date, I'm working on getting the last few remaining acheivements for this game. After Assasins Creed 1 I was slightly disappointed with the repetivness of the game. After viewing the previews for this game, I was more hopeful. Assassins Creed 2 is a very well thought out game and follow up to AC1. Firstly, every mission is different with regards to the main storyline and it all ties together. The graphics are stunning to say the least, even if it's just riding on your horse over to the next city. For the people who just want a quick game to play and keep them amused for a good few hours, it's great, however me personally enjoyed going further into the game and finding out more of the background with Ezio and what was going on in the world around him and out of the game with Desmond and co. The gameplay was challenging at some places but not too hard.The new feature of being able to go and disarm guards and use their weapon against them made the game alot more fun that just the normal sword fights or simply assassinating people from great heights(although that can be a good laugh at times) The addition of smoke bombs and poison for killing your enemies just adds onto the expansive use of weapons now in the game. The glyphs are great for those who enjoy puzzles and also you do get some easy acheivements in this game and easy enough to get the full 1000G for this game without having to spend ages slaving over it (worst thing is finding/collecting the feathers as I'm finding out for myself.)
I would say buy this asap for yourselves as it's a great game and such a big improvement on AC1. As I've now read and know that AC3 uses Ezio as well in the game, I am intregued to see how Ubisoft are going to improve from this excellent game.
