A huge improvement on the original. Has everything that makes a game amazing. Should not be missed!

I played the original Assassins Creed back when it first came out. After playing through it I was dissapointed. The game had boring repetitive missions, confusing story, and many glitches. So I was hesitant about buying the second game. After many excellent reviews and purchasing it for only $20, I gave in and played it. I was blown away...

This game improves on everything of the original. Graphics and music were slightly better, but it was enough of an improvement that I really noticed. Graphics were top notch some of the best I've ever seen. Music was about average or so, but better than the original.

The areas where this game vastly improved upon was the story and gameplay. These are the most important parts in a game in my opinion. Technical stuff like music and graphics can only go so far.

I dont want to mention too much about the story and spoil anything, but I can mention a few things. You start out the game as Desmond once again and are thrown into a new world this time. This time you are playing the role of Ezio. He is so much more likeable and better than Altair. This game takes place in Italy. Like the last game it is up to you to track down certain notorious members in Italy and assassinate them. Ezio is seeking revenge for a death of someone close to him and in the process he learns of a secret thats so much bigger than himself or assassination he plans. This story can be a little confusing as well, but it is more enjoyable and understandable than the first game.

The gameplay for this game is incredible. The fighting and action of this game has vastly improved. You can buy multiple weapons like knives, swords, smoke bombs and upgrade them throughout the game. Ezio can also buy armor and upgrade that as well. The weapons and armor section really improves your arsenal and makes the game more fun. Many of the boring missions that were in the first game are still present in this game, but they are also optional. The main course through the game offers a variety of different objectives and missions that make this game fun. Some missions may seem similar but there are multiple ways to finish them. Having that freedom and choice to finish a mission a certain way is great. Theres also a lot more variety to the missions. Not everything is stealth related. Theres a lot of platforming and optional collecting stuff to do which was fun for me. The game is a normal length. It took me about 20 hours I think to beat it.

If you were even just kind of interested in the first game, then definitely pick up this game. Anyone even interested in a good adventure game should take a look into this game. I was hesitant, but glad I played it and enjoyed it as much as I did.
