This has to be one of the best games of the year. I think It is an amazing sequel. Great gameplay and story.

I had moderate expectations for this game when I first got it, but this game was very sastifying and addictive. I like Ezio's character. The story is very good and has a long length. I think the game is good for replayability.

The real thing that makes this game really good is the gameplay, combat, graphics and soundtrack. The soundtrack is amazing, with slow classical tunes as you jump from rooftop to rooftop in the night sky, or fast paced tunes during chases and combat. The graphics are beautiful and they made me want to visit Venice in Italy. Asassin's creed 2 really captures 15th century Italy well, in Venice you have the canals and gondolas which you can pilot. In florence they have the Duomo. You can ride horses through the Tuscan countryside and even fight from them.

The combat was VERY good, they brought back the mechanics from assassin's creed 1 but they introduced new things like smoke bombs, which can stun enemies for easy kills and easy getaways, they have more hiding spots like hay and wells, also they have enemies that can spot you in these hiding spots. They have poison that kills an enemy after an interesting series of actions. But now they even have TWO hidden blades for ezio. Also later in the series ezio gets a mini gun which you can buy ammo for at blacksmiths. They brought back some of the counters from asassin's creed 1 but they also designed new ones.

Besides the story, asassin's creed 2 has more side missions to offer. They have assassin's tombs where you have to use your brain to solve puzzles to get an assassin's seal. Finding all 6 of these seals will unlock an armour. Thieves will challenge you to races for money, People will pay you to deliver messages but you are timed. You can assassinate contracts for money and even beat up cheating husbands for their wives. Also another cool thing asasssin's creed 2 has is that you have money to buy weapons and armour and you can outfit yourself with these weapons and armour as you please. You can also control an estate at monterigoni where you can upgrade the city to make an income.

In closing, assassin's creed 2 has to be one of the best games and best sequels of the year.
