An amazing revamp to the highly acclaimed prequel. This game graciously improves over every flaw from the original game.
Some sequels come and revolutionize an asset, or many, of the original formula sometimes to the extent that this formula is no longer the same. Assassin's Creed II redoes the very same formula used in Assassin's Creed, but it does it so majestically, that this game outshines its own predecessor.
Every flaw, every detail, every dialogue and even the story show that this game was made with love and dedication. The controls for the game seem perfect and go seamlessly with the concept of the animus. It takes the same control scheme from AC, however this games comes with more varied game styles and fighting animations.
Ezio's, this game's main character, abilities' surpass those from Altaïr in every single aspect. He can jump further, run faster, fight better and he has a much more interesting story. Of course, Altaïr's story is also a huge influence over this game and it shows just how much dedication was poured into writing this universe's plot.
The cities you get to explore in this game are bigger and better than the original game's crusade-era cities. Townsmen have better quality and you get much more dialogue this time around from the NCPs.
Stealth is a huge aspect in this game and it is done, just as one might expect, better than the original game. Ezio has a huge arsenal that ranges from small stealthy weapons, like the hidden blade, to heavy lethal hammers! Speaking of arsenal, Ezio is able to swiftly change from one weapon to another just as easily as pressing a button, during the midst of battle.
Assassin's Creed II comes to prove that no game should be left without improvements. It absolutely does everything from Assassin's Creed better, faster and prettier. This game is an absolute must buy.
