Good for an afternoon (and a quick achievement set)

User Rating: 5 | Assault Heroes X360
The game overall is fine (I am stressing fine-middle of the road. You won't remember this game for its greatness or how sorry it was; really you won't remember this game) and allows you to pilot a car, boat and progress on foot as you move ever forward in removing your evil nemesis.

The game seems a lot like the old Spy Hunter from the Arcade (it looks and feels a lot like that game) and is generally a standard platformer that moves you from level to level with the occasional boss battle.

The graphics are standard for an X-Box live title, same for the audio. The control scheme takes good advantage of the 360's layout and the learning curve to get into the game is not steep at all.

The only place that this game stands out is in the number (and ease) of achievements available throughout. I am sure Microsoft has standardized the number of achievements and how many points each can be worth, but it really seemed to me that this game made it incredibly easy to boost my gamer score.

Would I purchase the game again (I alreay deleted it from my hard drive); I don't know, probably not. Its a toss-up, certainly not as lousy as some other XBLive games, but nothing outstanding either.
