This game is like anime crossed with Tetris. You star as a cute little character who must pull blocks from an advancing structure, and fire them back to create combinations and knock out other blocks. It's a simple story, but it is so addictive, you will find yourself racking up level after level in a time-eating frenzy. I could have done with a little more variety in the soundtrack. There's pretty much one chirpy techno tune, and that's all you're going to get. Oh well-- you could always just put on your earphones and let a music player do the stand-in. This harks back to the golden era of competitive arcade fun. It's nonviolent, so it should be okay for most age groups. It does take quite a bit of time to unlock new characters, and you see pretty much the same background through all the stages I've seen. A little bit of variety here and there wouldn't have hurt. These are minor quibbles, however, and they shouldn't stop you from playing the game. See you at the next checkpoint!
