All terrain vehicles + tricks= High flying action and a good sense of speed. ATV Offroad Fury is the definitive ATV Racer's Dream. The Gameplay- Although the steering could have been a little tighter then what it is right now, it suits the game quite nicely. Character movements and ATV actions are fairly realistc and quite funny to watch when you bail on a BIG jump. Otherwise it's basically self explanatory. The Graphics- As a launch game for the PS2, I would have to say I was quite impressed with ATV's graphics. Barely any slowdown whatsoever and details and textures were well created and displayed. The Controls- Again the controls were quite loose but still fit the game quite comfortably. Pulling off tricks was quite easy to do and were also quite easy to land as well. The Sound- The soundtrack that came with the game (in my opinion) was actually quite good. A mix of hard rock and a little bit of silly techno made the game more enjoyable. Engine sounds were clear and everything just strung together quite nicely. The Value- Well considering this is a platinum hit, ($20-$25), I would think that it could easily be picked up. ATV Offroad Fury may not have made any new features available or give us a refresing new look at the sport of ATV Racing, but it sure was one fun game to play so I rate it a 7.9/10.
