Auto Modellista Is Like Racing and Watching Japanese Anime at the Same Time
Of course anime is Japanese for animation, but Americans call Japanese animation "anime", and that's the way this unusual racing title is designed. Auto Modellista is somewhat like a Japanese animation combined with a racing game, it's cel-shaded, and yet it looks very, very cool. They may not by photo-real, but why does there always have to be realism?
Picking a car isn't too hard once you win the cash from the races, and once you get your car, you do so much to it, the varities are endless. You also win several props for your garage, the possibilities are endless. However, the races are really hard and challenging, it's mostly offset by horrible handling controls. It isn't perfect, but if you get the hang of it, it's very fun.
The soundtrack is well done, I don't even know the artists or composers. The announcer who constantly talks is a bit catchy, but annoying when you are racing. The varity of cars is endless, and the modifications and garage decorations, you have so to do.
Overall, it's a very worthy racing title with endless possibilities to offer.
