The burning earth comes as an improvement to the first without a few things that could have been better.

In this go round Aang and the "gang" are into book 2 Earth. If you have played the last game you probably would have realized that the camera was a bit tricky to work out but all together well done for all it's worth. One thing that this game misses is that view factor. Don't get me wrong because it's fine but a few more camera angles would have been helpful in town and places like the forest. The characters are well rendered and the ai opponents aren't to shabby either. One let down is (like the last) you can get into situations in battle where you can keep using the same move and just basically beat down your opponent. Unfortunately your opponent can do the same... A nice upgrade is the bending meter. You have four guages that fill up over time to allow you to use bending moves. When 1 is full you can use the basic special bend, when two you can use the level 2 special bend or 2 basic ones etc etc. You have a total of 4 special bending moves obviously that you unlock at either the right level or a stage in the game. There is a bit of platforming in the game that is necesary but for all how little there is... it can seem tedious because of the camera angle that makes you feel like turning it to the side to see if it will change. Other than that it is a roam-free game that has certain tasks you need to do that will be in red in the written text.. The mini-games are ok at best. They too can get annoying at times but if you are enjoying the game you won't mind. I didn't ^_^. The main thing that lets this game down is the TIME IT TAKES TO FINISH and it's difficulty.
The game is amazingly easy and short with a total of 7-8 chapters (i can't remember exactly). The chapters aren't the lengthiest either so that's a bit of a let down. To make you really believe how short it is, I'll tell you that I finished it in the times between having dinner, doing homework and watching tv yesterday. In total i think about 3-5 hours of playtime. BEWARE it is very addictive so you won't want to put it down very often which is why it has a low playtime. Overall you will have fun if you play this game, but when you buy it keep in mind it won't last for long.
