Reminds me a bit of the old D&D Gold Box series (although those were better). If you want a break for the resource-hogging, graphics heavy games of today, give Avernum 4 a try for some old school turn-based RPG action. The game's unique subterranean world is large, with lots to do and see. Although its limitations make it a bit repetitive, it's still good fun. Until someone out there re-makes the much-loved Gold Box series, this is about as close as you're going to get.
Also recommended for its bargain price and relatively small footprint on your hard drive, in spite of its depth of storyline and game play.
