To be honest, I got this game for free when I bought Donkey Kong Country. But when I started playing this game for the first time, I just wanted to beat it right away! But that was not as easy as it sounded. At some point in the game the stages become harder, especially if you're playing a high difficulty level. But after a few tries I beat the game and that was it for me.. The graphics are all what you can expect from a retro shooter. The sound and music are good enough to keep you in the mood for the entire game. Axelay is a very nice shooter and for those who are looking for just plain shooting fun then this one will do fine!
