Fun game, just needs a few improvements.

I bought Backbreaker with eyes wide open. I actually like the idea of a game with no NFL license. I loved the first blitz:the league, the second was a little disappointing. So I was really anxious to get ahold of Backbreaker.

I have to say the team creation system is awesome, if anything, it's almost too much when it comes down to making a custom team.

I played the Training Camp, but it didn't give me any idea how hard it is to pass in this game. Even with a wide open receiver you will throw an interception or throw it way off the mark. Probably the only good thing is the computer is just as bad with the passing, but it sure gives your QBs a long QB rating. On the other hand, when you succeed in a pass you are really pumped up, because it's so hard to get a reception.

So there is alot of reliance on the run. The running is fun, especially in this 3rd person view, it really feels like you are in the game. Your guy can be tackled easy sometimes, other times you can break off a run for a touchdown.

I have to say I am disappointed about the no injuries.. that would have been a nice thing to have in the game.

I've only played 5 matches on Road to Backbreaker, and other than those issues, I love the game. I think they need to tweak it a little. I can't give it a 10, but it's definitely fun for people who want something different than Madden.
