Backyard Baseball 2001 was a great game. You can play as kid versions of Major League Baseball all-stars. The game modes are great and offer multiple options. You can choose from such options as Single Game and Season, and you can select from a variety of settings. The gameplay is somewhat simple in a good way. The graphics, although not life-like are very well done. The sound, from the children's taunts to the birds chirping, is excellent. You might be able to find this game in a bargain bin, or anywhere, for that matter, for an extremely low price. Although there are more recent versions of the game, it is definitely worth the money to buy this one. I think this is a very solid game and has great lasting appeal, and I know that many of my friends enjoy it to, and you most likely will to.
