This game is boring - so it's better to watch the real-life NFL football games than to play against the BFL children.

User Rating: 7 | Backyard Football PC
If you have ever played football in your own backyard at home, now's your chance to do it on the computer against the children and kid versions of real-life NFL players, and you'll be able to choose from John Elway, Barry Sanders, Jerry Rice, Steve Young, Brett Favre, Drew Bledsoe, and Randall Cunningham as kid versions of NFL players. This game has an NFL license, and Humongous Entertainment had the license to use NFL players, and a member of the Quarterback Club.

In Season Mode, where you play most of your games, you can choose a team and draft your seven players. Notice that there are no penalties, and the play is five-on-five. Every team has two reserves, since (as I mentioned earlier in this paragraph) plays five-by-five. Season Mode has fourteen regular season games, followed by the playoffs. In the Hall of Fame, there are three trophies: the Parks Division Championship, Backyard Conference Championship, and the Super Colossal Cereal Bowl. The quarters last one minute, so you need to put up points fast - and have a good quarterback like John Elway to accomplish the task of scoring points fast. There are the Backyard and Frontyard Conferences in the BFL, as well as four divisions. The division alignment has four teams, just as the NFL has used since the Houston Texans joined the NFL in 2002. There are forty teams to choose from when playing a game, nine Backyard teams and thirty-one NFL squads.

You'll earn power-ups during the game by making back-to-back tackles for a loss on defense, and catching a deflected ball on offense.
