Don't even try to compare it to the PC-based Baldur's Gate series...this is a different beast

Forget it matching the PC-based BG series...its not a PC you're playing on and thats that ;) That said, this is an enjoyable romp of a game - first time through I played the Barbarian character and found it a breeze - stomp stomp stompy stomp I went and finished rather quickly. Next up, the Cleric, required more thought but just as much fun.

Only downside was the lack of explanation about the item-mod system and gems - maybe the guide book could have been more explicit about 'what was what' but sussed it in the end.

A cracking game - good co-op play.

Only concern is that since its been played a few times its sat on my shelf - so not very replayable

    Makes for a worthy sequel at the least.
