There was something missing from this sequel, that made the first Baldur's Gate a better game. For some reason, you could kill a majority of the enemy's by doing the "run around them, smack'em in the face... run around them, smack'em in the face" technique. The graphics and sound are just as good as the first. The story is just as bad as the first. The weapon system, though, I must say is the greatest improvement to the game. Attaching certain gems to weapons can have really cool results. Duel wielding was also a nice addition. I would recommend this game to anyone who really loved the first Balder's Gate, and is dying for more. If you haven't played either one of these games, I would shoot for the first one. If you end up loving that one, try Baldur's Gate II.
