Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance should have been a great game for the GBA. However, it was plagued with uneven gameplay throughout that forced endless hours of starting over from save points. And the save points were way too far from each other. It is yet another case of approx 20-30 minutes of gameplay between saves. That is not acceptable. It is rare that adults will sit down using a GBA for that length of time. It is portable, and therefore is often used while travelling. The graphics were very good. I was very impressed that they could squeeze that quality out of the GBA. The sound was also pretty good, however the most annoying thing was the constant loud footsteps that never quite matched up with the characters' actual steps. Overall, a pretty good game if you need an RPG for your GBA. For those who have played this on other consoles, don't bother with this one.
