Still a great game!
The story is deep and engaging. There are so many branching paths to choose from, allowing you to play your character the way you want. Most of the non-player characters are the "never forget" type especially your fellow group members. Minsc and Boo, by far, are the best.
The gameplay still holds up in comparison to newer RPGs. It's still the point and click gameplay and memorization of spells. If you can stand to play in outdated D&D rules, you will definitely have fun with this one.
The 2D graphics are manageable and by no means ugly. Although archaic, when compared to newer games, the graphics, especially the art direction, are still quite pleasing to look at. This is definitely a game you can return to and always try something different. Open ended gameplay at its best, allowing you to reach your goals by a different means each time you play.
