Banjo Kazooie Nuts & Bolts is one of the most unique experiences you will get out of your XBOX.

User Rating: 8.5 | Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts X360
Banjo Kazooie Nuts & Bolts takes the old formula for Banjo Kazooie games and throws it out the window for a brand-new vehicle-based system of gameplay. This isn't necessarily a bad thing though.

Graphics:
Large, artistic worlds with huge amounts of jumps, environmental pieces and bright colors really make this game pop. The games terrain is more detailed than its 64 bit predecessors (obviously), and it is really a beauty to behold.

Audio:
They brought back the old tracks! The game music is reminiscent of the older game's music, and actually almost identical. Not necessarily a bad thing though. Crashes sound bitterly painful, the way they should sound, and the various blasts, whooshes, and booms are all very good at doing what they should be doing: Sounding like the real deal.

Gameplay:
As mentioned before, Banjo Kazooie Nuts & Bolts takes the platforming nature of its predecessors and completely trashes it for a new vehicle-based gameplay style. Though I'm still a little upset they couldn't leave in some platforming elements in the actual levels, the game delivers. A comprehensive vehicle design system allows you to easily create powerful machines, whether they be car, motorcycle, hovercraft, boat, plane, helicopter, etc. It is a truly fulfilling experience to try and get just the right vehicle for your skill and gameplay style. A problem, however, includes all the rough landings you'll be making after jumps and plane touchdowns. Yes, they WILL be rough. Banjo 3 keeps some of its platforming elements in the huge main hub, where you can jump across the roofs of Showdown Town. It almost feels like you're playing Assassin's Creed, but it's kid friendly. The wide variety of events you can take compete in offers a lot of variety, and the races are surprisingly satisfying.

Conclusion:
I'm very upset that they almost completely trashed the old gameplay, but I'm extremely happy with the new gameplay as well. Though my feelings are mixed, Banjo Kazooie Nuts & Bolts has highly addictive play that will bring you back time and again begging for more.
