Eight years have passed since Banjo-Tooie and now the third game is released, was it worth it.
STORY:
Like I said the story in this game is terrible, it's been 8 years since Banjo and Kazooie have been doing anything heroic so they have just became fat and lazy, but one day Gruntilda comes back and decides she is going to defeat Banjo and Kazooie. Kazooie hears a noice and decides to make Banjo check it out and then they find Gruntilda, just as the three are about to fight a new character by the name of Lord of Games (L.O.G for short) decides he is sick of Banjo and Gruntilda's constant fighting and decides to take them to Showdown Town to fight for Spiral Mountain and the loser must stay at his factory forever and work for him. Oh and Grunty wants to make Spiral Mountain into a shopping mall. LAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GRAPHICS:
While the backgrounds are nice to look at, the character models are just terrible. They are VERY blocky and just look stupid, Banjo has a square nose and Grunty looks weirder than usual.
GAMEPLAY:
GAHHHHH it's broken, the vehicles just don't work as no matter what you do to them they go out of control or slam into a fence and come to an instant STOP, it's frustrating and just kills the overall fun of the game, the vehicle creation is boring and no matter what you do THE VEHICLES NEVER WORK, you'll be going back to the garage and fixing the vehicles and they are STILL useless. It got to the stage where I just stopped trying to make vehicles and just edited the vehicles already created by L.O.G or Humba Wumba. Unlike the other Banjo Kazooie games you don't have to find the Jiggies you have to do a stupid minigame which you will NOT complete on your first time as they vehicle will have to be edited.
MUSIC -
It's just remixes of previous songs, and the only new piece of music is for Logbox 720 and that is HORRIBLE. And the voices of the characters suck.
OVERALL:
This is the worst Banjo game ever created and easily contender for worst RARE game of all time, which is a sham as Banjo Kazooie/Tooie are my favourite games of all time. It's such a shame that we waited 8 years for a sequel and THIS is the game that we're given, do yourself a favour and avoid this game at ALL costs as it is broken and not worth the money
