Great for young girls 4-12, basic fashion show game. Audio and not text based.

It can be hard to find decent games for younger players and girls especially. This is one area where Gamespot should do better. This game appears to be great for younger girls, especially for that 4-7 year old crowd where you don't want something overly complicated or with lots of reading (text).

See the reviews on Amazon for many details and testimonials. 80-90% are 5 stars and nothing lower than 4 stars... from people with kids. So I tend to believe that a little more than the "uber-gamers" that tend to review here, at least for this category of game.

If you want a complicated or sophisticated fashion game, well... you shouldn't be looking at a Barbie branded product should you? I don't think the fashion games by Imagine worked out very well... our daughter did not enjoy them and one section actually had a flaw where you COULD NOT complete a mission and proceed (game over). Kudos to them for breaking ground and expanding the market, but this game (from Activision) seems to be much better.
