Splash screen, then Crash. That's all we got on our Wii systems with this game.

After personally receiving 3 different disks from Bass Pro, and conferring with others who also received replacement disks for their Wii systems, I can say that absolutely none of the disks were playable (that's 7 out of 7). The gimmicky rod and reel appeared like it might be fun to use, but I never actually had the opportunity to see it in action.

Since the game truly never even started up, I can't say for certain, but I was suspecting other problems. My copy of the game instructions on the insert had no mention of the controls if using the rod and reel that came bundled in the package. In fact, there were some instructions about steering the boat that I don't think would work if the Wii controller were placed in the rod and reel casing.

This product was obviously rushed to market to be ready for Christmas 09'. Maybe it plays well on other systems. Who knows. It certainly didn't get ported well for the Wii.
