Good gameplay, good story, good battles, just good all around.

Baten Kaitos has filled a nice hole in my current games. I've been longing for a solid RPG, and being a xbox and Gamecube owner only, a good RPG can be hard to find. I've played all the good and great RPGs on both platforms, and was pleased to find this one. I was unsure how I would feel about the card battle system, having never played a card battle game before. I must say, it is a lot of fun. The strategy grows as the game moves forward. The worlds are really well designed, and the 2D backgrounds are beautiful. The plot twists and turns and really drives the game forward. I am hooked on this game, and can't put it down. If you love RPGs and you haven't played this game, go buy it. The game really is great and I can't wait for Baten Kaitos II. This game is one of the best RPGs on the Gamecube.
