This game reminds me of the badass cartoon series in the early 90's. Glad the voice actors of that cartoon took part in this classic because it just made the game that more enjoyable. The story seems like something I would watch in a the cartoon and though I am like 20 now, that cartoon will never get old, so I still enjoyed the story though it amonted to nothing really. So I am glad that now I am able to play the cartoon, though it is a mix of the new and reinvented Batman, but it all works so good together.
The game combot is realistic, but just a little to easy too pull off if not played on hard. Pressing square and triangle is easy, but it makes fighting kind of easy, but that does not mean it is not engaging and the presentation is flawless. Batman just keep whopping tail, and when you keep the combos goings, the moves get even better. Too bad you cannot control what attacks you do, so you will do the same thing everytime in some instances and that kind of makes combats whatever, but seriously, that doesn't matter because the game presentation is top notch. Also, certain levels force you to either fight or use stealth, which is not a bad thing, but once you realize a rooms has gargoyles, you know you have to use stealth and that is the only way. Not a bad thing, but certain levels force you to do some unnecassary things, but all games do this, so why complain. Unlike those games, these scenarios are fun and not a chore.
Boss fights are for the most part different, the best are Scare Crows, but sadly the last boss fight between you and Joker is not even between you and Joker. Not only that, but the game just ends there which is kind of a low note because I thought there would have been a nice cliffhanger, but you get what you get. That doesn't really ruin the experience, but it would have definitely added to 9 hours of brillance the game offered before it. All I can say is this game is definitely a must play because with so much crap being released, this game is definitely one of the games worth paying your money for.
Everything about this game feels like a Batman game and the design of AA is brillant. It is complex, without being complicated to navigate. It is big without feeling overwhelming. All anyone should know is the game is good and should be played. It feels fresh even though it does things we have done before, but not in Batman fashion and that is why this game raises the bar for super hero games. Now if someone could create a realistic Spider Man game like they did for the first spiderman movie.
