Batman Arkham Asylum is a great game, and a great buy that will have fans and non-fans alike answering the bat signal.

The graphics are amazing, but again, I'm used to portable console quality, and it wows me everytime I play.

The gameplay is amazing, and has you doing anything from stealthily taking out henchmen, to solving puzzles, to unleashing all your fury upon the inmates of Arkham Asylum. Its really not fair actually, because most of the people you face aren't too difficult until about half way through the game. The difficulty curve is smooth as well.

The storyline isn't too complex, the usual Joker takes over certain location, batman arrives to thwart him, except this time Batman is already at the location. The voice acting is very good and the character's animations are amazing for its time, and good for today.
Story-8/10
One thing this game can really boast is extras. From riddler trophies, to cassete tapes of interviews with the various villains, to the founder of arkham, Ammodeus? i think and his story. These all take some serious work to find, but most are worth it. (I personally don't think its worth hunting for the riddler trophies just to hear his annoying voice), but they are extras, so whatever is given is gladly accepted. You also have challenge modes, and 3d trophies you can view of characters, as well as bios to read(some are really interesting, especially if you know nothing about batman).

The sound of the game really adds to the atmosphere, but certain tunes(like the da-da-da-da of the intercom before someone speaks can sometimes get annoying(though thats a personal preference).

ALL IN ALL this game is amazing, and cheap too. There is almost no excuse not to pick this up, especially since its T for teen so that means literally everyone can play it.
