All Batman fans please raise your hands (wait, this is a computer... ah... no hands, got it). Never mind, it doesn't matter. You'll love this game whether you're a Batman fan or not. Why? 'Cause it's the picture perfect Batman video game everyone's been waiting for. 1st of all, it's got an awesome concept. Joker gets "caught" by Batman and is transported to Arkham Asylum. "A" OK so far, until Joker owns a bunch of guards with his head, hands and other body parts. Then he lets out a few thugs, unleashes a couple of mutated freaks, sets free a bit of crazy heads & watches it all go down. The game starts getting harder as you progress through levels and plow through bosses, but, you never get bored with the riddles you must solve & the trophies you have to find. Gameplay never gets boring either because you can always unlock new weapons, gadgets, armor & more. Graphics are really cool & very pleasant to look at. Just to make 1 thing clear though, this game requires patience. You must wait for the right time to knock out your prey & find the right places to hide. Another thing I wanna talk about is the characters. Totally awesome job with the Joker, Bane & Killer Croc were very cool, Harley & Ivy had some pretty amazing outfits, and Batman, well, Batman was just fantastic. Even when you're done the campaign, you can still play on challenge mode which is really fun. And the PS3 fans get a special treat ( just 'cause we're all that & a bag of chips), the play as the Joker map pack. Awesomely fun to play, less gadgets than Batman, but still fun. I know I've been a little everywhere with my review, but I've said all this just to say; Batman is a surprisingly good game & it deserves it's 9.0 outta 10.
