Great story, addictive cutscenes, and mediocre gameplay.
GRAPHICS (10/10): Absolutely fantastic. The cutscenes stand out as the best I have seen in any game so far.
ACTING (10/10): Normally not something I would even mention, but the voice acting is superb. It's nice that they brought back all the actors from the original animated series. Joker especially shines, which is good because you'll hear him non-stop on the PA system the entire game.
GAMEPLAY (15/20): This is where it really falls short. The camera is zoomed in too far on Batman while he is walking, there is no jump button, and the grapple lines are always too short to do what I wanted to do. Overall I spent most of the game creeping on the ground, and it felt more like Splinter Cell than a superhero game.
RE-PLAYABILITY (6/10): After beating the game, Arkham Island becomes deserted, so don't expect to enjoy picking up the last few riddles you missed. Not that there is much reason, since the "reward" isn't even worth mentioning. Fortunately there is a decent challenge section where you can replay certain rooms with new objectives, but there isn't a lot of depth here.
