Finally, Batman has gotten his greatness out to the gaming industry.

User Rating: 10 | Batman: Arkham Asylum X360
Well we all know Batman previous games weren't as great as they could've been, but the good ol' folks at Rocksteady have done it. So story wise, you, Batman, have captured the Joker, and take him to the infamous Arkham Asylum, which is the jail where pretty much all the bad guys go to after Batmans through with them. Joker escapes. The rest of the story you can find out so I don't spoil it.
Combat: Slick-looking and easy to do. As you progress through the game there's going to be a huge load of awesome looking stuff stuff to beat the crap out of thugs with but you won't be overwhelmed, as each move is just two button at the max.
Stealth: Great ways to use the environment to your advantage and freak out your enemies. Got to say, it's a heckuva lot of fun taking someone out silently until one of the thugs, discovers him and gets all scared. Thanks to the great voice acting from just about everybody in the game, the fear in goons sounds, and looks, authentic.
Gadgets: Don't want to give too much away about these, but they all do pretty cool things.
A.I.: They're not complete idiots. Sure its probably how a real gang would fight one at a time, but they'll grab guns, pipes, knives, tazers, and even terminals offf the wall.
Extras: There are challenges with combat and stealth, and some pretty cool add-ons. I have the 360, but honestly I would get it for the PS3 if thats what you have, unless you don't have access to PSN, because it has some more add-ons for the PS3. There are also character bios, trophies and 240 riddles across the island in the main game set by the Riddler. They come in the form of trophies, maps, things you have to observe, Chronicles of Arkham, and ? marks you have to align, and observe.
Disappointments: You'll use Detective mode more than you want to. The final boss isn't as much of a challenge as you would like.
Other than that, GREAT game. Buy it. At Gamestop, Walmart, Ebay, I don't care just get it. And have fun, you won't regret it.
