Batman: AA Review
You play as The Dark Knight, Batman.
The game starts quite slow with you having to walk Joker into the heart of Arkham, only for him to escape the grasp of the sleazy guards which were supposed to be holding him. This left Joker running wild around Arkham.
Aim of the game: capture Joker and the fellow inmates he released and restore peace to the Asylum. You will come across villains such as; Poison Ivy, Bane and Killer Croc in your mission, you'll be forced to fight them in a so called "fair fight" and return them to their rightful place, their cell.
The fighting system is the best I've seen in a game but can be a bit too easy at times with the counter system giving you a bit too much time to react. The game gives you a fantastic variety of gadgets available to be upgraded as the game goes on. This was a great addition to the game as it gives the gamer something to aim for and something to do. The storyline is great and the graphics are just phenomenal! The whole map is quite big letting you explore on a wider scale with every inch being a great choice of scenery.
Rocksteady definitely knew what they were doing with Batman and have pulled off a very good game. Batman: AA offers many fantastic things to do in the campaign. While kicking butt and restoring peace, you can bring out your imaginative side and solve the Riddler challenges, bringing a lot of confusing madness!
If you're a fan of Batman, this is the game for you but if you don't like Batman I still recommend trying this game out, it just might change you opinion.
Overall, I think that there is a good variety of things to do, within and after the campaign. From, solving Riddles to setting traps, Batman is absolutely one of the must have games this year.
Tick Tock…
