Batman: Arkham Asylum doesn't just take the cake, it freakin' steals it.

Batman: Arkham Asylum is a Batman game with it's own storyline, it's not based on any story or movie. It's doing it's own thing. Batman: AA not only has an individual storyline but it's written by the same guy that wrote the Batman: Animated Series and has original voices of Joker, Batman, Harley Quinn, and more. This game is the best DC Comic to be made. Upgrade Batman to whup on more insane captives of Arkham Asylum. Battle Killer Croc, Scarecrow, and Bane. It's all great fun.

Presentation: From the main menu, you know that this game is going to blow you away.

Graphics: Unreal Engine looks absolutely amazing and it's framerate is so smooth you won't believe your eyes.

Gameplay: The fluidity of the combat is jaw-dropping and fun. The puzzles are fun as hell.

Sound: From the amazing voice acting to the sounds of punches, this game sounds amazing.

Lasting Appeal: Once you beat the game, you can keep exploring Arkham Island to outsmart Riddler and there's challenge rooms to play. You'll be at it for a while.
