I'm one of the biggest Batman fans I know, and I snag any Batman game that comes out for the PS2 (PS) I even own Batman & Robin. I was so excited for a Batman Begins game...then I got it...played it...and have never played it again. This game though visually okay was a HUGE let down. You can only use Batman's gadgets when the game allows you too, you can't just try and fight your way through an area (even just for fun) cause you will surely die. My advice to whoever does the next (Batman) The Dark Knight game, make it more like the extremely fun Spider-Man movie games just darker. If you like action adventure games with playability then DON'T play this game. If you like restricted minimum playability then you'll love this game. I'm going to go back and play Batman Gotham City Racer.
