Surprisingly good game

I have read all the bad reviews about this game and i finally played for myself. i was pleasantly surprised by what i now think is an underrated game. The graphics are top notch for the nes era. The game doesn't really explain the story line i just assume its about the joker returning. Its highly addicting and allot of fun. Yes it is very much like contra and yes contra is way better than this game but if you can get your hands on it like i did it is defenitly worth a play through. On the bad side after stage 2-2 this game becomes harder than winning the lottery if you can make it past stage 3-1 without throwing something across the room i would like to know how you control your anger.
I think there should be some sort of lifetime achievement award for anyone who can make it past stage 7-1 (the level before the final battle with the joker) because its now in my top ten hardest levels awards. And the real downer is the joker is extremely easy both times you fight him. Not the best batman game but a batman game really worth checking out.
