The BEST beat-em-up of ALL-TIME.

We all remember the old school beat-em-ups. You know the Final Fights, Streets of Rage, X-men, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Simpsons Arcade games, but the gem is Batman Returns. The levels are brilliant, the enemies plenty and varied and batman moves with grace and power. The music and atmosphere is also top notch.

Based on the early 90's Batman movie featuring the Penguin and Catwoman this game has Batman fighting clowns and other boss characters including the two villains. It takes about an hour to finish the game but you will play this multiple times a year. Theres even a sweet driving level with the batmobile, even Arkham Asylum didn't have that.

I just mentioned the great Batman Arkham Asylum, and Batman Returns is to beat-em-ups as Arkham Asylum is to comic book games. It's that great and worthy as the best of this old-school genre. I still consider it the greatest Batman game ever, and I loved Arkham Asylum. Look for it on Ebay or anywhere old games are sold you won't regret getting this game.
