Going into season 2 of the Telltale: Batman series, I had very high expectations. The first season was amazing, pure and simple. So going into season 2, I expected a masterpiece and I got it.
From the jump, We are thrown into madness as we are finally introduced to the next colourful line of characters from the Batman universe. And the first villain, the main villain for the episode, is the Riddler and they do him justice in this episode. The Riddler fits his name perfectly with his complex riddles and puzzles and he's more than capable of holding against the dark knight.
The story, avoiding spoilers, is a nice follow up to the original series. It shows Bruce still in the thick of it as he deals with the emotional fallout from last season. There's plenty of action and emotional storytelling going on here to keep fans interested and invested from start to finish. And the cliffhanger leaves your jaw dropped.
Overall: 10/10
I honestly can't think of a single bad thing to say. It's an action-packed, perfectly crafted Telltale episode. It's right up there with some of the best episodes I've played.
