Excellent video game representation of the film.
I am a huge fan of the movie and this game did a great job capturing the movie’s essence. Each level and most of the enemies are modeled from the movie. My favorite is the purple and green goon cars in the driving sequences. The graphic are dark and bold and very detailed. The music, though original for the game, followed the same style as the movie’s. The first level’s music is one of my top favorites in all the games I have played. This game is an excellent adaptation of the movie.
The game is on the short side and most people will play though it fairly quickly. There isn’t much incentive to go back and play it again, unless you are like me, and just enjoy playing through it time and time again.
Aesthetically the game is perfect appealing to fans of the movie. The game play will satisfy most gamers, but to most, there isn’t much to warrant successive plays. Unless you are an old-school game collector or hard core fan of the movie, this game won’t offer much to the current generation of casual gamers.
