This game would become the predocessor to Return Of The Joker on the NES, that game was slightly inferior and an extremely hard game. This game really reminds me of the Mega Man games on the NES, it has similar weapons, similar sound and similar bosses, but this game is slightly easier in difficulty. There's good sound in this game, it's just right for a Batman game, but the game is on an 8 bit system, so what do you expect in sound quality ? The graphics are ok, they're dark, which is fitting for this kind of game. The controls are easy to get into and the gameplay is quite addicting. You also have a Ninja Gaiden style of wall jump, which is extremely useful and easy to master. The enemies in this game are a bunch of mother effers so it's fun just punching the hell out of them. You also have a variety of weapons including guns. I could go on and on about how cool the gameplay is, but really, it's just extremely fun to play because of the good controls and addicting gameplay. Overall, Batman on the NES is a phenomenal game for the NES and is one definately worth picking up
