Truly Worthty of The Mantle of The Bat

User Rating: 9.7 | Batman: Vengeance GC
The Good: Great Storyline, Awesome Graphics, Excellent Voice Work, Great Gameplay puts you truly in the role of the Dark Knight, overall great Batman Game.

The Bad: Vehicle Missions are fun but do not allow a lot of flexibility, game camera can be awkward and hard to manage some times.

Batman: Vengeance is an amazing game that can truly be defined as a masterpiece. I've had this game since it was released years ago and enjoyed then, and now I'm going to finally review it. I truly a big fan of Bruce Timm's DCAU, especially BTAS, TNBA, JL, JLU, and Batman Beyond. This is just truly a great game.

The story is pretty good, involving the Joker's "apparent" demise and his mysterious plan to destroy Gotham from beyond the grave. The story just truly feels like it's from BTAS and TNBA. It pretty good, unlike most superhero games.

The Voice Acting is supreb! It's great to hear Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill again as The Dark Knight and The Clown Prince of Crime respectfully. It's also great to hear Arleen Sorkin, Tara Strong, Bob Hastings, Diane Pershing, and Michael Ansara.

The gameplay is truly amazing for actually immersing you into being Batman. It is truly a fun rompt through Gotham City from start to finish. I only have a few problems with the game. 1) The cuffing a knocked out thug mechanic is a lot better than Dark Tomorrow's, but still has flaws like running out of them and being screwed. 2) The camera can be hard to work with on some occasions and slightly frustrating. 3) The vehicle levels are fun, but don't offer much variety. Overall, Batman Vengeance is a must own masterpiece.
