A truly immersive game....after a few patches of course....

User Rating: 7.9 | Battle of Britain II: Wings of Victory PC
Let me start off by saying that this game, without the patches, was completely unplayable for me. There were constant crashes and glitches everywhere. I couldn't play a SINGLE game without having one crash or a freeze. However, after the 2.04 patch, the crashes were finally fixed! (At least for me)

Pros:
- Amazing campaign! Very immersive. You can control everything! Down to the single plane the you can fly. Everything you do in the campaign will have an effect. (Destroying bases, factories, radars, planes, etc.)
- Hundreds of planes in the air (At least it feels like it). This greatly contributes to the immersion.
- For the most part, sounds are really good.
- Graphics are good as well, except for the terrain which is not so great but does it's job well enough.
- You have a lot of options with difficulty so those who want to play it easy can and those who wanna go full fledged can play it their style as well.

Cons:
- Terrain graphics are not so great.
- The chattering can get annoying but there are mods to fix this.
- Even though most have been sorted out, there are still some problems with the game. You may get a crash once in a long while.
- Campaign is hard to get use to. Might take you a while to learn how to manage everything effectively.
- You never get to pilot as one person or squadron. You don't feel like you can have an effect on the war, unless you are actually conducting the raids and patrols, but as a pilot, you feel rather useless or insignificant.
- No multiplayer!

This is a great game. Despite some of the downsides, the positive things about the game will draw you in and keep you playing the game. I use to hate it for it's bugs, but now that most have been sorted out, it's just an extremely amazing game to play.
