A few moths ago, I was an Il2 guy, I never thought I will find something better on the market. I was wrong. BoB2 is a real time machine. There's only a handful of flyable aircraft, but they're very well made. The flight model is as accurate as in FS series. You'll find yourself enjoying just flying around Dover rocks in dusk. But there's more: huge, I mean huge battles! In no other games U can lead 24 spits and 12 Hurricanes against HUNDREDS of german bombers escorted by 50+ 109s. Even if you're an ace in other games, it's gonna be difficult to point your crosshair on a hun for the first time. And that's just not enough..AI planes won't fly straight forward, you'll have to follow them through manouvres you've never even tried to do. But for the sake of reality, you'll find novice bomber crews jumping out of their planes after a burst just because they panic! Sounds: just like the real ones. Radio chatter: you can ask everything, even the wind direction at altitude/ surface. No multiplayer, but who gives a *, this game has the best Campaign mode EVER! you command the whole RAF, hundreds of planes in the air a the same time, don't expect to become an ace in one mission, be happy if you survive! Dark sides: damage modeling. Just not as good as the other parts of the game. Don't forget, BoB2 supports 6DOF! The out of box version is full of bugs, but don't mind, just install the patches, it's gonna be ok.
