Derek Smart had a dream...to make the ultimate space,strategy simulator,and he allmost did.The game has amazing depth,but takes immense patience and time to learn and play.Most gamers will tire of reading the manual,and attempt to learn as they go....wrong.You must dedicate yourself to this title.Read the manual,then read it again.
The game has a very good space feel.Once you get into space,exit your ship in your suit,and float around....use your suit thrusters etc....you'll see what i mean.
You can choose from a crazy amount of professions,each with his own strengths,and ship choices etc.You can just have fun,and explore...or take on the campaign.There's more options in this game than any title i've ever seen.Send out probes,fighters,shuttles.Pilot one yourself,or select crew members to go.Mine resources,capture cities....this is one hard core simulator.
The graphics are 2001 era,but there's lens flare etc.Space is allright,but planet surface graphics are very plain.
Only the most dedicated simulator lover would like this game.99% of you will not like it.
