Battlefield has been one of the most realistic war games. This game takes place in the World War 1 era of history. It tells the stories of five different people throughout their time in the war. This game also includes a multiplayer section with games of up to 64 online players fighting for different objectives.
I have looked forward to this game for a very long time and have very high standards that needed to be met. Luckily they were met. This game was a great mix of exciting action and a multiple great story lines. All of my criteria was met and then some. This has definitely lived up to the hype.
Graphics: 9
The graphics in this game are quite amazing. The landscape in the game interfere with the bullets and other projectiles as they should. The maps in the campaign and in multiplayer will have buildings crumble, trees fall, and defenses blow up based on realistic events. In other war games such as Call of Duty the only thing that can change are the cars which may blow up. This game allows for the entirety of the map to be changed.
Gameplay: 10
This game has very good features in its gameplay. A destructible landscape is found in the game as well as actual physics based on the drop of a bullet through the air and the travel time. These are found rarely if at all in other games. The actuality of the game contributes to the immersion of the game.
Replayability: 10
This game has endless opportunity in the course of a single match. The maps can change through the match never creating the same hiding spot at the same time. The vehicles add another element of diversity in the game as they destroy terrain and enemy alike. The classes also have many different abilities. The assault class allows you to blow up enemy vehicles with ease, the support class allows you to keep your allies well stocked on ammo, the medic class allows you to revive your injured teammates, the scout class allows you to take out long range enemies before they see you, and lastly when you deploy in a vehicle you get a new class special to that vehicle. There are also close range weapons and the ability to pick up others weapons.
Balance (AKA How Fair the Game is): 9
This game has very good balance. There are some weapons that seem to have a lot of power but there are many different ways to counter them. The versatility of the classes cause the game to be very even. No weapon was very overpowered or underpowered.
Ability to pick up and play: 7
Most people can pick up the game and get the hang of it after a few games or so, but the ones that see the most success are the ones that have played games like this one. The game has easy controls that go with most war games but the small details in the game takes time to master.

This game met many standards and lived up to the hype many people placed on it. I would say it was very worthwhile to spend the money to get the game. I have enjoyed this game since the day it came out. The game is very amazing and quite fun. All in all this me was very solid. The gameplay and graphics were amazing. The ability to pick it up and play again and again is also very good. In all this game was very well made and deserves the score I have given it.
