This is the Battlefield we've been wating for the PS3

Battlefield 1943 is a online only game that can be downloaded via PSN for $15. For all this games has to offer, it could've easily been a retail game. This game is great. Let's get down to the big things this game has to offer. The game uses the Frostwire engine, which means most structures can be destructible when they explode. Either you hit a tank missile into a building, shoot an exploding barrel or use a mounted machine gun to tare down trees. What really confuses me is that some things can't be exploded. Things like a outpost or a little building that holds a mounted gun or anti-aircraft gun on top. I don't know why, but most thing you can destroy. Another thing is that the maps are big. This works because a single match can hold up to 24 people, which is impressive compared to Call of Duty World at War big maps with 12 people. Also, the cars, tanks and even planes are fun to drive. The planes get some getting used to, but its fun once you get the hang of it. There are a couple of complaints. One is that there are only 3 classes, which means only 3 guns. Bad Company had a good system that you could have 5 classes and still unlock other guns. It doesn't work here. But the guns they put in are actually pretty solid. Another is that, again, there are only 3 maps. I'm hoping that there are going to be more in the future. But the maps are fun to be in. All in all, the game is a lot of fun. There could've been more guns and like 2 other maps, but its a great game for $15.
