Ok, so I was pretty excited for this game, seeing as no big xbox 360 releases are due out for a while and I wanted something to play. I wish I would have downloaded the trial first instead of just buying it. Don't get me wrong, the game is fun, but it's so similar to the previous BF games. I know the game is a remake of BF:1942 but if you're a die hard BF fan, and you've played the previous BF games to death, this is going to feel old and dated. This being said, I am not a die hard BF fan, and the one good addition to the game, the Frostbite engine, does make in more fun. But after playing Bad Company to death, this just feels like a WWII mod or something. I've basically been playing it for 24 hours and am already bored with it. The controls are decent. The graphics are good being its an arcade title, but I often get blurs and pixel jumps that shouldn't happen on an xbox 360. The gameplay is nothing new obviously. It's a remake only with the Frostbite engine. If you like BF I would recommend the game for you. But for any other gamer, I would recommend the trial first. Play it for a few days and see if you're still interested in the game.
