Good game.......ish
Now don't get me wrong, this is a good game but it's hardly revolutionary. As if the FPS genre wasn't repetitive enough DICE decided to make a game with the same game mode, same engine and same maps as previous games in the series. Genius.
GRAPHICS
Now this game is stunningly beautiful, for an arcade game. Charecter models are ok...ish and vehicles all look familiarly boxy. The islands themself are great though. Very nice especially the beautiful water. I'd often find myslef just swimming from one side of the island and back again just to bathe in the virtual pristine clear waters of wake island.
GAMEPLAY
Gameplay is standard for a battlefield game, you take a flag, get in a car, crash, shoot somebody and then die. There is still plenty of tactical strategies you could use if your team isn't filled with brain dead no mic's *sighs*. Destuctible environments are slightly improved but for some reason the metal lockers can take a rocket shell and not even wobble while over excited walls explode after being nudged by a passing draft (exaggeration). Vehicles still play a pivotel part in the layout of all matches. Planes still buzz over head of your rolling convoy of tanks. The only real difference is that jeeps are slightly more drifty. I feel they went for a warthog feel but couldn't quite get it. Npw my main quibble with gameplay is the lack of variety. 3 classes, 3 vehicle types, 3 maps (not counting coral sea). 1 game mode ( not counting coral sea again) This lack of variety will cause a lot of boredom amongst regular players of call of duty or halo.

Oh wait............... there isn't one :(

*Stupid downloadable (although it is relatively small 350 mb or so)
*indestructible lockers completely spoil destuctible environments
*No option to play single player or split screen whatsoever!
VERDICT
despite the grilling it may appear i gave this game it is still a GOOD game. Nothing speacial but GOOD. I would recommend checking this out if you liked either BF BC or BF 1942 or too anyone with spare MS points lying around.
