This is Battlefield 2 Modern Combat. This is different from the Battlefield 2 game for the PC, but it still has the same elements. Incase you don't know what makes Battlefield unique from other FPS is because you have many classes and vehicles to choose from. The first thing I want you to know is the gameplay. The gameplay is smooth but the movement is very slow. Getting to point A to point B on foot can make you go mad as you wait for your character slowly running to your objective point. There is a new mechanic in Modern Combat, which allows you to hotswap to other units around in the battlefield. Hotswap is basiclly you switching to another unit. The campaign is good but it is sometimes really frustrating. Each level have you running around trying to complete a mission. The campagin can be a little dull with sometimes the same mission over and over again, but just in a different setting. As you go through the campaign you will unlock weapons and earn medals depending on how well you've done. The campaign is not what the BF:MD is about though. It is about the multiplayer. The multiplayer in this game can be fun in this game. You can play up to 24 players in XBL, but there isn't any splitscreen of anykind. AIn multiplayer the type of class you pick depends on the battlefield. There are 5 classes to choose from. Assualt, sniper, special ops, engineer, and support. Even though you get all these classes the weapon is not satifying. Each classes has a kit of weapons but sadly you can't pick up any other weapons on the maps. You can't pick up your own allies guns, your own enemies gun...you can't even pick up ammo for the same type of gun that is on the floor!!!Also if you're expecting a lot of depth in the weapons then you're out of luck. All you have to do is point and fire. It should take a few seconds for your enemy to die and it just matter who shoots first. In multiplayer there are only two types of modes conquest, and CTF. Conquest is like king of the hill but there is just many flags on the map this time. CTF is each side has a flag and you need to capture your enemy's flag and bring it back to you base. The multiplayer is pretty standerd, but what makes Modern Combat so special is the amount of vehicles you can use. Depending on which map there are many veriety of vehicles like jeeps, helicopters, and tanks. The graphic is the game is standerd, not that good shading but the overall model of each soldier or vehicle is good. The sound in this game is really bad. The voice acting of the different people in different countries sound horrible. Also the commander in the campaign screaming at you you fail the mission has bad voice acting. The replay value is good. The multiplayer can keep you busy for a while and the campaign is pretty long. Overall there are many dissapointment about this game for me like if you shoot a vehicle it explode into noting, or if you snipe somebody from a good hiding spot the enemy will know where you're are because the enemy's camera will be lock. Even though you hear me complain about this game a lot there is still some fun in it.
