The single-player is really crappy but the online totally makes up for it with a simply awesome experience.

I am a big fan of the Battlefield series and even a bigger fan of shooter games. This game is overall worse than it's PC version but is still wicked awesome! The guns are really realistic as are the vehicles and there is really nothing finer than wasting someone with all you friends in the same jeep just goin around and kicking some royal ass. The models are a little weak but the environments look and feel great. The hotswapping feature is really cool and helpful in times where it gets a little hectic but you'll get used to it soon enough. The only problem is the spawning issue. You can totally waste some people in part of a building then go to another part and kill some more and then you'll start getting shot in the back because they spawned right behind you. Overall the game is really cool and is really great for people whose computers can't handle all the new technology. Single player blows but multiplayer is probably the best of any game for the PS2.
